HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Today my grandson Josh turned 11 years old.  Hard to believe.  Where did the time go?  And of course I forgot my jump drive with the pictures on it, so I will have to add pictures later.  You Grandma and Papaw love you, Josh.  This picture was taken in December of 2009 - not January of 2006.  Date displays are great - if you keep up with them everytime your batteries go out.

Camper for Sale

Well the economy has finally induced us to sell our camper.  Well that and the fact that we still have alot of work around the house yet to do and can't get it done while at the campground.  Hate to have to do it, but we all do what we have to do.  If you know of anyone thinking about annual camping, let us know.

2000 Jayco 26ft with super-slide, covered porch, and all outside furniture, porch beverage refrigerator, and grill are included.  Located on Lot 24 in Kamp Modoc, Modoc, Indiana.

Father's Day

"Old as she was, she still sometimes missed her Daddy".  So very true!  Happy Father's Day!

Noah Gabriel Smurdon

Two years ago today, Jesus took this angel back home to heaven.  For someone so tiny, he touched the lives of many during his brief but shining moment on earth.  He was born with Trisomy 18 and spinal bifida and was called home at just 9 months of age.  Happy Heavenly Birthday, dear Noah.

Just a man on a horse....
(from the movie "Something to Talk About")

But boy oh boy!

My favorite President

Tomorrow marks the 6th anniversary of the passing of a great man and my absolute favorite President ever.  What a man!  I had the great honor of serving on Reagan's national election committee for both elections.  I miss you more as time passes, especially in these troubling times.  I wonder what you think?  But you always had faith in the American people, and so shall I.  I hope we get through this sooner and not later.

Great HS Bands of Anderson's past

About the only band left that resembled these great bands of Anderson's past was Highland and now it is gone.  No more Anderson HS Marching Indians with head dresses and no more Madison Heights Band of Pirates, period.  What a shame!
