Congrats to Zenyatta

Queen Z won Horse of the Year.  And she deserved it!  She brought so much joy to so many.

In her new life - off the track and on to motherhood.

May we be at peace....

So much strife this past week, and so much sadness.  I try to keep it all in perspective and pray for those in Arizona and pray for our country.  We still have the freedom of our thoughts and opinions.  The actions of a disturbed individual cannot  and will not separate us from our freedom.

I love this picture - a good thing as there is alot of this stuff around.

And so peaceful, too!

And I love this picture of the newest members of our family.  My sweet sister-in-law (what was she thinking) got two Poodle pups - one for each son (nephew).  I guess she wasn't thinking about when one son leaves in a year (Citadel bound and we are oh so proud), and the other leaves in three.  Oh well Holly - by then you will be a seasoned veteran and won't know how you ever managed without them.  Looks like they will make good snow dogs....

And least you won't lose them.
