More Zenyatta and colt pictures
How cute is he? Mom and baby are doing fine according to Zenyatta's web page. They are just being - well, horses! I just love those fuzzy legs!

Random thoughts for Tuesday
These pictures of Winston are from this past Christmas - can you believe it? Looks more like late April!
My dear SIL took them - thanks Holly!
I am hoping that Peyton Manning goes to Denver - at least then my son could enjoy him as he lives in Colorado.
Thanks for the great years, Peyton, and for all you have done while in Indiana.

Zenyatta and son
Z had her baby (a colt) on March 8, 2012 at 10:10 PM EST. He weighed in at 130 lbs (and we humans think we have it bad giving birth - not to mention the long legs) - is a dark bay (like Mom and Dad), has a white star on his forehead and some white dots on his left front hoof. Mom and baby are doing great and as you can see by the pictures, Z is calm and loving her son!
So happy it all turned out well for and the little one! And he is just as I had imagined her baby to be. I was kind of hoping it would be a filly, but a colt is WONDERFUL!

They did it....
My niece and her fiancee eloped on February 25, 2012 in Chicago. So romantic! Sometimes love just cannot wait another day. Much love and happiness to them both.
And their shoes are to die for...
